WARTAPHOTO.NET — Pati – The research team from MAN 2 Pati achieved outstanding success at the Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) and the International Science Project Competition (ISPC) 2026, held at Politeknik Negeri Malang (POLINEMA) from May 18–21, 2026.

Students from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) have once again achieved an outstanding accomplishment through their agricultural biotechnology innovation titled "HEAT-POTATO (HSP70-Enhanced Adaptive Tolerance in Potato)." The project was awarded the Gold Medal at the Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) 2026, an international competition recognizing excellence in life science innovation.

KLIKMU.CO — Two fifth-grade students from SD Muhammadiyah 22 Surabaya, Shaynala Radya Elmeira and Aliya Salwa Putri, achieved an outstanding accomplishment at the international level. They won the Gold Medal in the Food Science and Nutrition category at The 6th Global Competition for Life Science (GLoCoLiS) 2026.

The Faculty of Vocational Studies at Sanata Dharma University (USD) has once again achieved remarkable success on the international stage. In 2025, a team of its students won the Gold Medal at the Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) and the Silver Medal at the International Science Project Competition (ISPC).

Semarang – SMP Islam Al Azhar 23 Kalibanteng, one of the leading Islamic schools in Semarang, has once again achieved an outstanding accomplishment. Three of its students—Carissa Putri Mkaiyana Ramadhani (Caca), Raisa Ghefira Almahira (Ara), and Aneila Rafi Lituhayu (Aneila)—won the Gold Medal at the Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) 2025, an international competition held in Semarang from September 6–9, 2025.

Jabaran.id – The Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) has once again successfully held three prestigious international competitions, namely GloCoLiS (Global Competition for Life Sciences), International Social Project Competition (ISPC), and World Essay Competition Championship (WECC). This year marks a special milestone with the 5th anniversary of GloCoLiS, as well as the 2nd anniversary of ISPC and WECC.

They are Carissa Putri Mkaiyana Ramadhani (Caca), Raisa Ghefira Almahira (Ara), and Aneila Rafi Lituhayu (Aneila), who formed a young research team and won the Gold Medal at the Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) 2025, held in Semarang from September 6–9, 2025.

The Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) 2024 is a learning and scientific competition platform that fosters innovation while building networks among researchers and industry professionals. GloCoLis 2024 was organized by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) in collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, the Malaysia Innovation, Invention & Creative Association (MIICA), and MILSET International.

Shofia Anyunari, a grade 12.1 student of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya (Smamda), has made Indonesia proud in the international arena.

Ahmad Faizal Irawan, Amanda Dea Cahyani, Diva Mirza Wardatus S., Elma Karisma, and Regestina Oktaviani won the Gold Medal in the Global Competition for Life Sciences (GLOCOLIS) 2023. GLOCOLIS itself is one of a series of international competitions organized by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association in collaboration with the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L). The Global Competition for Life Sciences (GLOCOLIS) 2023 provides a platform for students to innovate and compete with participants from various countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, and others. A total of 319 finalists from 15 countries participated in the competition which was held online from March 14 to April 7, 2023.

Hafiz Okta Ramadhan, a 2022 student in Agroecotechnology, and Zulfikar Dabby A, a 2019 student in Agribusiness, both from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya (UB), presented their innovative research titled "Kombute: Optimization of Orange Peel with Moringa Leaf Fortification as an Innovative Dried-Powder-Based Kombucha Tea to Reduce Diabetes Risk." Their project was awarded the Gold Medal at The 3rd Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis).

Banda Aceh – Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) won the Silver Medal at the prestigious Global Competition for Life Sciences (GloCoLis) 2023, an international competition that attracted 319 teams from 15 countries.
